Melanie is an associate for the public affairs practice group at Rasky Baerlein Strategic Communications. She provides communications support for public affairs and government relations and assists in the execution of strategic long-term lobbying and legislative affairs plans for clients. In addition to the government relations work she has done for clients, Melanie implements grassroots organizing strategies, conducts industry research and analysis, and monitors state and federal legislative activities.
Melanie has been associated with Rasky Baerlein since 2010. Most recently she served as the executive assistant to Joe Baerlein, president of Rasky Baerlein. Prior to joining the staff, Melanie gained work experience as a legislative intern at the Massachusetts State House and as a public affairs intern at Rasky Baerlein.
Melanie earned a bachelor's degree in Political Science and Spanish from Providence College in 2010. Melanie was involved in various student activities and played an active role launching a campus wide fundraising campaign for the international service-learning program, Pennies for Peace, at Providence College.
