Patrick Bench is a vice president of public affairs.  In this role he provides public affairs and lobbying counsel to clients in Massachusetts, Washington, D.C., and across the country and internationally. Bench was previously the director of business development for the Massachusetts Office of International Trade and Investment (MOITI), where he worked to expand the Massachusetts economy by marketing the state’s business internationally.

During Patrick’s tenure at MOITI he worked with more than 60 foreign companies to open their North American Offices in Massachusetts, and facilitated bilateral economic partnerships with more than 50 countries.

Prior to his position at the MOITI, Patrick held positions at John Kerry for President as a National Advance Staffer, and at PriceWaterhouseCoopers as a Mutual Funds Pricing Analyst.

Patrick is an American Council of Young Political Leaders Fellow and has presented on the topics of International Trade and Foreign Direct Investment at Harvard, and Brandeis University, as well as at Dublin City University in Ireland and at the Rambam Hospital in Haifa, Israel. Patrick is involved in a number of organizations, as President of the Boston Irish Business Association, a board member of WorldBoston, and as a Connector with Boston World Partnerships.

Patrick earned a Masters in Public Administration from the Sawyer School of Management at Suffolk University in Boston. He also has a bachelor’s degree in political science from Providence College.
