Jon Carlisle brings significant communications experience in the fields of transportation and politics to his position within Rasky Baerlein Strategic Communication’s financial services, real estate, and retail practice group. A strategic thinker and effective communicator, Jon has a solid background in media and government relations, and crisis management.
Prior to joining Rasky Baerlein in 2008, Jon served as Communications Director for the Massachusetts Turnpike Authority. While there, he developed and implemented targeted media relations campaigns and served as the agency’s primary spokesperson. Jon was recruited as part of a senior management team following the I-90 Connector ceiling tunnel collapse in July of 2006. He oversaw the Authority’s crisis communications strategy and provided daily media updates and interviews for national and regional press.

Jon’s additional experience includes his roles as Communications Director in Maine for the Dole-Kemp presidential campaign, as Assistant Communications Director for Robert Monks’ campaign for the U.S. Senate in Maine, and as Assistant Press Secretary for United States Senator William S. Cohen.
