Jim Cabot
Senior Vice President
Jim manages Rasky Baerlein Strategic Communications’ energy and environment practice, working closely with large and small energy and clean-tech companies. He oversees integrated communications programs including media relations, public affairs, project management and regulatory strategy.
Jim spent 12 years with the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency (EPA), New England, serving most recently as director of strategic planning, managing the launch of new strategic planning, program evaluation, and accountability systems.
Jim’s tenure at the EPA also included serving as Director and Founder of EPA’s first environmental technology development and commercialization center, which provided business consulting, and secured technology grants and funding for private sector companies from clean-tech startups to Fortune 100 companies. In this role, Mr. Cabot also worked to establish joint ventures and partnerships between government and the private sector.
Jim’s entrepreneurial experience includes co-founding the environmental publications company; Green Book, Inc. His previous experience encompasses financial services, national political campaigns and work in the nonprofit sector.
Jim earned a bachelor’s degree from Harvard University and a master’s degree in business administration from Harvard Business School.
